Roshnik is a well known village in the area of Berat and often it is called as one of the most civilized villages. This is probably related to its geographic position (12,5km from the city) and its infrastructure (the road is asphalted) that make it easily reachable from the tourists. It is reached after around a 25 – drive of enjoying the greenness and the pleasure that the regularity of vineyards in the hills transmits. We will have a walk through the vineyards and create a better idea on the types of
grape that is cultivated in this area, as well as other plants like the famous fig of Roshnik, nuts, vegetables etc . A famous family of the village is Fiska, who now runs an agrotourism and produces its own wine and raki (traditional Albanian alcoholic drink). We will have a break in the premises of the winery to get introduced to the process of wine making and taste different types of wines and raki as well. Roshnik is also famous for its dried fig production, so we will be able to accompany wine tasting with some nice dried figs, types of cheeses etc. , depending on the season we visit it.

• Travel by car/bus for around 30 minutes to reach Roshnik village.
• Have a walk through the village and the vineyards to see the products cultivated here, as well as the autochthonous Pulse grape and then sit for a great winetasting experience in the yard of the inn. (depending on the size and time available of the group the itinerary might slightly change, depart in the morning/afternoon, stop for lunch/dinner or not).
